The work draws inspiration from Jennifa's British-Bengali-Muslim heritage by exploring the concept of the "third space" - a metaphorical gateway transporting viewers between different cultural realms, visualised through patterns and ornamentation. It evokes contrasting themes of tradition and modernity. Light, shadow, and patterns, combined with the juxtaposition of traditional practices and contemporary processes, find reflection in Jennifa's studio practice, enabling her to create new artworks.
